The materials are:
outer fabric – 100% soft, washed linen
inner fabric – organic cotton
wadding – organic cotton
The patchwork is made from linen fabric remnants in various colours. The back is golden yellow and grey. The cover is hand quilted with red and green thread. The wadding adds an extra insulation, so the cover will keep your hot water bottle hot for longer. The cover opens across the back and it has velcro as fastening.
Size (approx.): 36cm x 23cm, to fit 2L hot water bottle.
Care: gentle hand wash in cool water, reshape after wash.
I try to only use sustainably sourced fabrics and trims for all our projects. They are second hand, upcycled, deadstock or, if brand new, produced in a way, that’s less harmful to the environment (organicly grown cotton, European linen, hemp). This also means that little details like buttons or binding might vary in type and colour from batch to batch.
