Sewing can be so many things – a livelihood, a hobby, an art form, a therapy or even an act of rebellion. It teaches us respect for other crafts and to value our clothes. This is so important today, when we know how damaging the fashion and textile industry is to the environment. Here at Green and Velvet we try our best to be responsible and respect the environment and the people behind the products we sell.
My name is Ewa and I created Green and Velvet in 2020 during lockdown as a response to my personal needs for a career change, a wardrobe update (after years of wearing work uniforms) and a creative outlet. Sewing world became the answer to these needs.
